Main St.: The Purpose

Today (June 16, 2025) marks 60 years since my grandmother, Josephine Mazza passed from breast cancer. She was 41 years old and my mom was a teenager. I never got a chance to meet her because of breast cancer, and that doesn't sit well with me!

With the support of my family, I created MainSt eight years ago to memorialize my Grandmother and honor my mom who is a 26 year breast cancer survivor.

I had no non-profit experience. But what I lacked in experience I made up for in fearless motivation, passion and drive... I figured it out!

Main St. has since turned into a movement that is bigger than me, bigger than all of us. It is a beacon for our local breast cancer community and provides comfort for all who need it.

Main St. is made from love, kindness and support from an endearing community. Our non-profit's mission and focus is on breast cancer patients in active treatment, recovery and beyond.

My family has aligned with our Bucks community to the tune of hundreds of partners and sponsors.

We have helped over 3000 local breast cancer patients and donated over $700,000.

Everything stays local. The programs we have helped create and fund are robust and transformative... food assistance, cold capping, integrative services, , out-of-pocket expenses, treatment transportation, comfort bags, wigs and neuropathy support and treatment center support and improvements i.e. state-of-the-art infusion chairs and serenity waiting lounges.

With community support we hope to be able to continue our good work.

We are currently ramping up for October 2025. So if you are a local business and want to get involved and help in a meaningful way by becoming a sponsor, partner and/or host an event for us, please get in touch! — keithmainst@gmail.com

Thank you!
